    Verdict

    Stockburn only has one blemish on his chase record and has been dropped 2lb since placing at Hereford and Exeter. The handicapper is giving him every chance to pick up the winning thread again but the 11-year-old Nesterenko is now 0-9 over the larger obstacles and hasn’t reproduced his best form this season. FINANCIAL OUTCOME (NAP) was disappointing last time at Chepstow and is still awaiting a first victory under Rules but he can’t get much lower in the weights and it is a positive that Aidan Coleman takes over the reins here. Ballymagroarty Boy has undergone wind surgery since last seen but Telson Barley is making his chasing bow.
