Verdict

Second three times in bumpers in Ireland for Gordon Elliott last summer, Global Society is sure to be popular having switched to the Henderson yard. Perfect Predator is the form pick on seconds here and at Hereford this season, though was disappointing in between at Huntingdon. Alan King also has a chance with the less-exposed Kings Royal Hussar but Le Grand Fromage was pulled up at Wetherby after a debut second at Hexham. UNAI jumped poorly when fourth at Musselburgh but the run was not without promise and he finished just behind a subsequent winner. He can only improve given his bumper third at Warwick last season has worked out well. Tartan Bute won four times on the Flat for Mark Johnston but has had little racing in the last two years.
