After a pipe-opener over a mile in April, Plutonian has continued his upward curve over this trip and merits serious consideration. However, he might not be as well suited to conditions as BANDITRY, who is back on a career-high mark but was an eye-catcher when third at York last month with an earlier second at that track behind Thundering Blue working out well. Society Red beat Cote d'Azur at York in June but the latter should get closer here on better terms while Mountain Hunter won at Meydan in January and fitness is unlikely to be an issue on his first run since March. Another Eclipse was only beaten a neck in this last year and, despite being 4lb out of the handicap, is actually a pound lower so he makes more appeal than Aquarium and Petrus.
Mountain Hunter (USA) 9-4fav (9-6) 5th of 14, 4 3/4l behind Kidmenever (9-6) at Meydan 1m 2f hcp gd in Mar.

Kyllachy Gala 33-1 (9-6) Held up towards rear, driven over 2f out, no impression, 8th of 11, 10l behind Thundering Blue (9-0) at York 1m 2f hcp (2) gf in May.
