High on numbers but not the best quality field for a Listed race, however Rahiyah has appeared a class above at times and she gets the nod ahead of Majestic Roi, Silk Blossom and Vital Statistics. The nomination has only had six starts to date and she has run good races when getting her preferred quick ground and once considered a very plausible 1000 Guineas contender, she can gain just her second win this afternoon. The stable are in decent form and with her weight-for-age allowance, she looks sure to run well. Majestic Roi is another youngster who looks sure to go well, however a Group race winners penalty makes life tougher. She ran well last time out and was perhaps given too much to do in a crowded Goodwood race. Vital Statistics finished behind her on that occasion, but this strapping filly was denied a clear run and if she gets the gaps today then she should go well. Silk Blossom has disappointed in two runs this year but the winner of last-year's Goff's Five Hundred at the Curragh, better should be expected at some point, although perhaps a return to sprinting will help. Our Faye has been in good form but may be outclassed here, whilst Expensive and Passion Fruit both need to bounce back from average runs. At a price Wid could go well for John Dunlop who knows how to win this race, however Rahiyah is the one we return to as our idea of the winner.
