Edraak hosed up at Newcastle last week but this looks a much tougher assignment for the lightly-raced gelding. Zap and Sparklealot are attractively weighted but PRESIDENTIAL is a pound lower than when runner-up over course and distance last August so is preferred to stablemate Muntadab and the others. Northernpowerhouse did well last season and it would be no surprise to see Glenamoy Lad in the firing-line but Gale Force Maya has yet to convince beyond 6f, though may have strengthened up again over the winter.
