In depth

Verdict

Only four remain following the defection of Whyzzat and Mick Appeby’s Eagle Eyed Freddie may do better as a three-year-old. A half-brother to three winners, John Gosden has found a good opportunity for the Frankel colt SEVENTH KINGDOM but he may not have things entirely his own way as 7f may prove the optimum distance for Codebook, who also has a nice pedigree. Bred in Ireland, Longlai is out of a French Listed winner so can’t be ignored.
