Verdict
Mr Top Hat won at Salisbury before going close again when runner-up at Newbury a fortnight ago. But TATHMEEN was less than a length behind in third on his return from a lay-off and the Hannon colt may well turn the tables in this. Captain Jameson drops down a grade after placing at York on his handicap debut but Excellent Times is upped in class having won at Redcar recently. Yarmouth winner Gangland is another facing a tougher task today while both Biddy Brady and Dawn Breaking were successful in novice events on their respective latest starts.
