      Verdict

Silver Gilt put up a highly encouraging debut effort when chasing home the uuseful Steelaninch in a 7f Newmarket conditions event last month and, granted normal improvement, should be capable of landing this before going on to better things. Chinkara is progressing along the right lines judged on a recent effort at Salisbury and has place claims along with Unigold who will be sharper for his debut outing when fourth in a Newcastle maiden late last month. Late Decision makes plenty of appeal on breeding and holds big-race entries but may need the outing and the market will provide further clues.
