In depth
Verdict
Our Power had the form of his Wincanton victory boosted when the runner-up scored off a 2lb higher mark at Kempton. Beakstown is sailing in calmer waters after running in a Grade 3 at Cheltenham but THE GOLDEN REBEL was impressive here last month in winning by eight lengths and Jack Andrews’ claim could be decisive again in this. Pasvolsky only won a match at Plumpton but Champagnesuperover looked to be getting the hang of things at Exeter and Erne River, who won twice over hurdles last year including one here, should make a chaser. Sam Barton has been disappointing so far, however, and Gallyhill also has a bit to prove after falling at Exeter.
