POTTLERATH hasn’t really run a bad race since joining Matt Sheppard. He’s no world-beater but, dropped a further pound since his latest third at Warwick and with Charlie Case taking off another 3lb, shouldn’t be far away again. Akentrick’s second at Musselburgh was a step forward and he races off the same mark while Canastero beat a subsequent winner at Stratford two runs ago. Lily Glitters has only gone up 4lb for winning under Alice Stevens at Hereford and The Longest Day is another to consider.
