Last week’s Ascot second Bernardo O'Reilly was a winner at this meeting last year when a pound higher. Kimifive has dropped 3lb since a close third at Epsom but ASJAD had excuses when surprisingly turned over by Desert Doctor at Ffos Las and this unexposed three-year-old can reverse that form and pick up the winning thread again. Zip has been running well over 7f but would need the heavens to open and Gale Force Maya has not managed to win off this mark in six attempts, though holds Lampang on the form book. Able Kane is weighted to reverse last month’s Newmarket form with Raatea and looks the pick of the remainder, though Mitrosonfire is also in cracking form and shouldn’t be far away again.
