Verdict

Daddy Long Legs can only improve on his debut win at Gowran and has plenty of fancy entries. But the placed horses have done little for the form since and Aidan O'Brien's charge will find ENTIFAADHA a tough nut to crack here. Successful in a Newmarket maiden in July that's worked out well, the Dansili colt had Al Khan well behind when winning the Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York last month with a bit in hand - he looks a very smart prospect. Red Duke's form is very solid and he has a chance against the selection on a line through York second Fort Bastion, though a penalty collected for his win in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket won't help his cause. Trumpet Major looks thoroughly exposed now and is likely to struggle again.
