Bronze Beau has the past form to figure in a race like this but has been out of sorts lately. Captain Dunne rolled back the years at Haydock last time while Roy's legacy remains in good form. Paul Midgley's pair Haajes and Bosun Breese could also figure, though the former would have preferred softer going. James Given has won this a couple of times in recent years and his ROYAL BAJAN had little luck around Chester's tight turns last time. He won off a 2lb higher mark the last time he was dropped into this grade and gets a tentative vote today. Head Space may be best of the rest in first-time blinkers ahead of veteran Moorhouse Lad.
