BURNT SUGAR was only beaten half-a-length by Justice Well on his debut at Newmarket at the end of May. The winner was fifth in the Chesham at Ascot last month and third Disegno has won since so the form looks solid and it will be a surprise if the Lope De Vega colt doesn't open his account today. Kassbaan showed improvement on his second start but, like Cisco Bay, may do better in handicaps. None of the others have shown much so far and the market will be the best guide to the chances of the three newcomers.
