In depth

Verdict

A competitive contest gets proceedings underway and many have chances on their best form. However jockeyship is all important in races of this nature and with that in mind the main protagonists appear to be Nedwood Mystic, Mi Odds Bustling Rio and Fast And Neat and the selection is Nedwood Mystic. The gelding from the Amanda Perret Yard won a similar contest in good style last time out and if he sees out this longer trip he will be hard to beat. Mi Odds has been in fair form but his form on the AW is better than that on turf and for that reason he is opposed. Bustling Rio is well weighted on his best form and he has won this race before but he has become a hard ride and he has an inexperienced rider onboard. Fast And Neat is also worthy of consideration on his latest third behind Misternando as that rival has since franked the form. Of the remainder Golden Chance and Mr Fortywinks who won this race last year have experienced pilots onboard and are worth a cautionary look in the market.
