Godolphin have a strong hand here and it could pay dividends to side with Zosima, as she gets plenty of weight from the likes of the in-form Gonfilia and Look Here's Carol. However, there are a few of the rest that have to be given plenty of respect and Nyramba, Attune and Lucky Pipit are others worth considering, as all three hold solid claims in this company. The first named does have a little to prove after a slightly below par run at Pontefract last time though, and her weaknesses were well and truly exposed. The step back up to seven furlongs should help her today and she will be hard to keep out of the frame if she runs up to her best. Attune has been a revelation and has already achieved more than her connections could have hoped for after a couple of inauspicious efforts when she returned to racing this season. She will do well confirm her superiority over Look Here's Carol on these terms though and may be just short of the mark on ground that may be a little lively for her. Lucky Pipit represents a yard that always have to be respected at this course and she is much better than her latest effort would have you believe. The form of the yard's runners was under a cloud at the time and she is better judged on a prior outing in a Listed race at Warwick from earlier in the season. Admittedly, she does have to improve on that run and is another that may be vulnerable to a finisher. Many will be hoping that horse will be Gonfilia, who as the mount of Frankie Dettori has to merit closer inspection. However, she was found out in the Oak Tree Stakes and the value call may be elsewhere. Which brings in Zosima, who has adapted well since she arrived to race here from the States. The drop in trip should not be an issue with the daughter of Capote, as she has a good cruising speed that can be employed to good effect by Ted Durcan as things unfold. She is also one of the least exposed runners in the line up and, as a three-year-old on the upgrade, it will take a good one to get past her near the finish.
