Gold City was placed in Listed company last year and won't be far away on his reappearance if he's improved since while Mawasem got off the mark in a decent maiden at Kempton last month and is another to consider. GREY MIRAGE makes more appeal as he made all on his handicap debut in similar company at Sandown. It was testing ground on that occasion but Marco Botti's charge had scored on the Polytrack before that and looks likely to show further progress here. Well Painted made a winning debut at Newbury and we'll learn more about him in this better company but Warfare couldn't cope with a 6lb rise at York last time having scored at Ascot earlier.
