Ebury has been frustrating to follow but certainly has the past form to figure in a race like this. ARRANMORE won a Carlisle handicap off a mark of 74 last summer. He’s just managed to scrape into this despite a recent second at Ripon and first-time headgear can help him get his head back in front. Temper Trap has been superbly placed to win four of his last five but Strangerontheshore gave him 4lb and a beating at Beverley last month. Dogged is also potentially well treated against Tim Easterby’s charge with Yoshimi and Youarenotforgiven others worth a second look. Sandy Paradise, Nurseclaire and Codify may be the pick of the three-year-olds.
