      Verdict

Plenty to consider in a competitive Class 5 opener and FARIBA is taken to beat her elders. Admittedly, she has yet to get her head in front on Turf but has scored over this trip on an all-weather surface and her latest staying-on third at Salisbury suggested that her turn is near off her current mark. Similar comments can be attributed to Ravenglass, placed on four of his last six starts in useful company and only denied by half a length at Beverley last month. He has gone back up 3lb to 70 but still rates one of the more likely ones. A whole host of others can have a case made for them but consistency is a valuable asset at this level and therefore the likes of Night Arc, Hostelry and Cloch Nua come to the fore in what is likely prove a wide-open affair.
