Verdict

Magic Dragon’s surprise victory at Sedgefield came over 2m4f and cheekpieces would need to work a second time. Dew Pond is a consistent sort and has every chance of going one better that at Kelso but ELYSIAN PRINCE ran well at Musselburgh before failing to take to fences at Sedgefield and is on a decent mark at present, though his strike-rate over timber is off-putting. Primogeniture is 0-13 over hurdles but a return to a quicker surface should help and he could run well at a price.
