Verdict

Buzz showed a good attitude to oblige on his hurdling debut and should progress further for the Henderson operation but is taken on with GLORY AND FORTUNE (NAP). Tom Lacey's charge has been withdrawn from a couple of races recently - presumably on account of ground - but should be well suited by the forecast conditions. He's been highly tried the last twice, was not disgraced on either occasion and should appreciate moving down a grade. Avarchie hasn't been seen for a while after a Wincanton success, and remarkably has had a different trainer every time he's stepped onto the track. He now has a first start for Martin Smith but others are preferred. South Seas receives useful weight from the penalised trio and has every chance of playing a prominent role.
