Verdict

Masaarr failed to land the odds over 7f in novice company on his reappearance though won over today’s trip last year. He makes his handicap debut in this along with NIGHT CASTLE. The latter defied a penalty for an earlier success when scoring at Lingfield in March and there looks plenty more to come from Charlie Appleby’s charge. Magnificent has been thereabouts over shorter trips but Chingachgook was still beaten six lengths despite finishing runner-up at Musselburgh last time. Maiden winner Kripke ran well at Ripon on his handicap debut and is preferred of the remainder.
