Verdict

A €100,000 yearling, the Kodiac filly KEMBLE was slow leaving the stalls at Newmarket and could never land a blow. But she will have learned plenty from that and may have more speed than the Dark Angel colt Light Angel, who is out of a useful winning miler. Royal Council has entries in some valuable sales races later in the summer but Apollinaire was a cheap purchase and is best watched.
