Singeur would be a leading fancy if this was over 5f but he's done all his winning so far over the minimum trip. Angus Og is also better over the minimum while Hoofalong ended last year playing up in the stalls and is 8lb higher than his latest win. Mon Brav is back on a winning mark but today's ground is a worry for him and the last comment also applies to recent Leicester winner Mutafaakir. Corporal Maddox will find this tougher than the race he won at Brighton last week so preference is for RIGHT TOUCH. The latter ran well at Ripon on his reappearance and looks capable of scoring off his current mark on that evidence. Baby Strange is no back number and also has claims.
