In depth

Verdict

SCRUTINY was well beaten over 6f at Newmarket on his reappearance. But it was soft going when he won over today's trip at Newbury in October and he's taken to bounce back in this. Willy Brennan can figure having landed the odds in a Southwell maiden in March while the recent third of Beau Nash to Mick's Yer Man looks better in retrospect as the latter won again at Ascot during the week. Kenny The Captain and Roachdale House should have improved for last month's comeback runs and the latter especially looks dangerous if back to his best here.
