In depth

Verdict

Zoltan Varga improved on his first run when second at Carlisle and is the only one of these with racecourse experience. SHIROCCAN ROLL represents last year’s winning stable and is a half-brother to a winning hurdler. He’ll probably know what’s required so is preferred to the stoutly-bred Ettila De Sivola. Skyline could go close, however, as he’s a half-brother to a Flat winner and out of a winning bumper so shouldn’t lack speed.
