Nimue has been a beaten favourite in four of her last six starts and despite being the best on official figures here she is worth taking on with AMITY, while Asaab is another likely improver. The Mark Johnston-trained selection is a nicely-bred filly who drops back in trip here after a debut run of some promise at Chepstow. There should not be too much of an issue over the shorter distance and coming from the yard she represents then she should improve a fair bit for that first run, while the ground won't be a problem. Asaab steps up in distance, which should suit, while she should love the firmer ground then when last seen at Newbury almost a year ago. With Clive Brittain's runners in fine fettle a decent return run is anticipated. Nimue has flattered to deceive on too many occasions to attract our support today. She might be better now returned to 7f but there is plenty to prove. Fashionable Gal looks destined for success further down the line and both Mighty Aphrodite and Fleeting Glance look better propositions for today, though Amity is our suggestion.
