Verdict

Misterioso has had a pipe-opener on the all-weather and would have a chance here on last year's form on Turf. He makes more appeal than Caprior Bere, who has also been racing on the Polytrack. Surewecan has disappointed this year but Auspicion made a winning reappearance at Ripon though had to be ridden right out. Wolverhampton winner Gothic Empire also has some improving to do and STRONG CHEMISTRY is fancied to defy top weight. The Godolphin colt ended the last campaign in a Group 3 and made Desert Force fight all the way to the line when only beaten half-a-length on his reappearance at Newbury.
