      Verdict

      BE PERFECT makes a quick reappearance after narrowly failing to hold off Corona Borealis at Wetherby's inaugural Flat meeting last week. Ruth Carr's gelding can't get much lower in the weights and can end his losing run if allowed an uncontested lead. Wordiness looks the danger despite having been raised 7lb for his win at Newbury as Catterick scorer Sherman McCoy hasn't won in this grade since 2011 and old-timer Nanton tends to need a run or two nowadays before striking form. Earls Quarter may be the pick of the remainder as Urban Castle and Samtu are probably better on the all-weather.
