TAQLEED is short enough in the betting but there's no denying his obvious chance. John Gosden's charge was having only the fourth start of his career when running a superb race in the Cambridgeshire where he wasn't headed until the closing stages of that 1m1f event. The quicker ground today will help and he's on the same mark. Richard Fahey has no less than six entered with Paul Hanagan relying on last year's Spring Mile winner Irish Heartbeat. However, his mount would prefer some give and as that's unlikely it could be Prime Exhibit, a good third behind today's rival Lowther at Wolverhampton, who leads the stable charge. Runner-up that day, Tartan Gigha, could prove best of that trio and is well enough handicapped to prove a good each-way bet. Dandy Nicholls saddles four and Light From Mars, an acquisition from Rod Millman's yard and the type his new trainer does so well with, could prove the pick of the quartet. Gunner Lindley has sneaked in at the bottom of the weights but both of his career successes have come with some cut in the ground and he's unlikely to get that here.
