      Verdict

EL CABALLO (NAP) rattled up a four-timer early last year, culminating in a victory in the Group 2 Sandy Lane at Haydock in May. He won on soft ground as a two-year-old and Clifford Lee prefers him to stablemate and Listed course and distance winner Fast Response. Commanche Falls finished behind the latter here in November having earlier won the Stewards’ Cup on fast going but Asjad will relish today’s underfoot conditions. King's Lynn’s only success last year came over the minimum trip in the Temple Stakes while Ehraz has yet to encounter testing ground and has been gelded since ending last year with a handicap success at Newmarket.
