Simply Ned was impressive over course and distance in January but has a 7lb higher mark to overcome today and, on a line through Newcastle winner Doynasaur, has something to find with TURN OVER SIVOLA. The latter is still a maiden over fences but the novices' handicap in which he finished third here in December has turned out to be a hot contest with the fifth winning earlier this week and the second going close in a Grade 2 at Kempton recently. Choc Thornton's mount is preferred to stablemate Lidar and in-form Swift Arrow. Lucky Landing has an absence to overcome while Keith Reveley's pair Kings Grey and Shadrack are usually vulnerable at this level. Doeslessthanme may not be the force of old while Prince Of Dreams usually makes at least one serious error in his races.
