      Verdict

      AXDAVALI showed promise when runner-up at Chantilly on his recent debut with the re-opposing Chant D'automne well beaten and should be winning at this level on that evidence. The selection was beaten at Chantilly by a horse trained by Andrea Marcialis and the latter runs the newcomer Ethiopia in this. She’s a half-sister to three winners and preferred to First Folio and Comporta of the newcomers while Magic Sword looks a likely improver representing Jo Hughes’ yard.
