        Verdict

        Amour En Poeme showed potential at Chantilly and looked at home on heavy ground when beaten less than a length over 7f at Longchamp in October. Civil Law didn't appreciate dropping in trip at Saint-Cloud in September after a fair debut at Vichy. Telemaque cost $650,000 being a son of War Front and related to three winners. He started favourite at Maisons-Laffitte in July but finished tailed off so there was obviously something amiss. He'll be expected to do much better while the Experienced Talap, placed in his last three starts for Roger Varian, has joined a yard that has started the campaign in blistering form. First Sight made a very promising debut at Chantilly in December, when Safran was just behind, but the vote goes to ROBLE, who caught the eye at Saint-Cloud last week and can make his fitness advantage count. Further Measure and Raysteve are also fit from recent runs and make this an interesting maiden.
