Laughifyouwant only just failed to catch Bona Fide over this trip at Gowran and today's easier conditions should suit so he's greatly respected. Fridtjof Nansen has had his chances and may need further but this looks another for Ballydoyle via PREPARE FOR BATTLE. A $400,000 yearling, he made a belated debut over an extended 1m1f at Gowran where he showed up well throughout. He'll be much better for the experience and this doesn't look the strongest of maidens despite the huge field. Jim Bolger's Godolphin-owned Luceita is a half-sister to the useful Lucida and one to keep an eye on while Dromana made a promising start at Dundalk.
