This has been run four times and Aidan O'Brien has won two of them. That could prove good enough though stablemate Bay of Biscay is out of a mare who has already produced eight winners and is entered in the Racing Post Trophy. Stellar Mass was in front of the selection on debut and looks certain to make a bold bid though he looks an excellent prospect for next year as he's by Sea The Stars as is Sea of Mystery, who is a half-brother to five winners. Kidd Malibu cost $550,000 and is the second foal of a mare who produced a winner in the USA with her first while Reckless Gold made a very encouraging debut behind Shogun here last month and is another to consider in an intriguing maiden.
