Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won this for the past two years and Tenth Star, runner-up to stablemate Daddy Long Legs in the Royal Lodge on his final start, has to go well to justify and entry in next week's Eclipse. The other entry from Ballydoyle, Learn, a close fourth behind French Fifteen in the Group 1 Criterium at Saint-Cloud, reappeared with a decent effort behind Sharestan in a similar contest over 1m2f here three weeks ago and he's likely to get much closer with that run under his belt. The winner is an obvious threat to all but conceding 13lb to MIZANI may prove beyond him. Mick Halford's colt was very impressive when scoring at Navan and though taking a big step-up in grade he has the size and scope to go on to better things.
