Verdict
Jim Bolger completed a hat-trick in this from 2005 including with Teofilo and New Approach. LEITIR MOR won't be in their class but it's about time he gained his first success after three narrow defeats and a fine effort behind stablemate Dawn Approach in last week's Coventry Stakes. Aidan O'Brien's George Vancouver started a short-priced favourite for his debut at Navan but never really got into contention behind Versilia Gal. Much better is expected of him though his stablemate Afonso De Sousa is a half-brother to the brilliant dual USA classic winner Big Brown and is definitely worth watching. Hard Yards made a very promising start behind Gale Force Ten here earlier this month when Leitir Mor was just under 3l in front of him so he's another to keep an eye on.
