Hamley has won twice around here including a premier handicap from a 3lb higher mark so shouldn't be dismissed. Njord won handicaps here and at Galway in October and will have found the going much too fast on his reappearance while Roibeard went close to making a successful reappearance at Gowran. Will Be King landed a Dundalk claimer before giving new connections an instant return at Roscommon but wouldn't want the ground to ease. Centroid returns from a very long absence but looks the type to do well this season while Spruce Meadows has dropped in the ratings and showed a bit more dash at Gowran. BRING US PARADISE was purchased by Luke Comer for 32,000gns after winning three of his last four in the UK for Tony Carroll. This isn't the toughest of starts and he's handed a speculative vote to make an instant impact for new connections.
