    Verdict

A very disappointing turnout for this Group 2. CHEERUPSLEEPYJEAN made a successful debut here then didn't appear to enjoy softer ground on a return visit before an excellent run in the Queen Mary at Ascot where she had Dundalk winner Yet a long way behind. That's comfortably the best form on view as Velocidad's narrow victory at Fairyhouse came on very testing ground though the fourth won next time. Missing Matron won the opening race of the season here in March and was conceding 5lb to the selection when beaten just over two lengths next time. Eternal Gold will need to show major improvement to get involved.
