Opera Singer scored over this trip at Leopardstown, when Kalispera was almost five lengths behind, and was caught right on the line when attempting to make all over 7f here a fortnight ago when both Peggy O'Neil and Vive Veuve were staying on from the rear. Brilliant looked in need of this trip when a close third in a Tipperary Listed contest while SHELAKA gained many admirers when landing what looked a strong maiden on the same track. Dermot Weld's filly looks the type to go on to better things so gets the nod.
