Verdict

A winner on the Flat in decent company in the spring, Lightening Company reverts to maiden company over hurdles after a couple of runs against more experienced opposition. He may be a bit better than a mark of 93 suggests but would be getting 23lb from Irish raider DULEEK STREET were this a handicap. John McConnell’s charge is 0-15 and has run his best races so far at Downpatrick but is still hard to oppose. Trick Of The Tail has placed in three of his last four and should make the frame again, though City Vaults ran well for third here on his hurdles bow having won twice on the level. Line In The Sand looks the pick of the remainder.
