OCEAN CONQUEST made a pleasing debut over 7f here behind subsequent Group 2 winner Henry Longfellow and normal progress will see him difficult to beat, though Starliner showed really good speed when beaten narrowly into third in what looked a strong Down Royal maiden. Rapid Mission and Pandion Power both showed debut promise while Tamrat could prove the best of the newcomers.
