In depth

Verdict

Al Batal, Ajmera and Hot Stone all share a similar handicap mark but are among the most exposed. Tontoretto hasn’t raced since third to Declarationofpeace over 5f at Dundalk last October but Mona Bell filled the same position at Cork in June and there’s a good chance that Lost Treasure will leave last year’s debut behind. TABAAHY found things happening too quickly over 5f here on debut but this extra furlong should give him more time to get organised. He’s got a nice pedigree and is preferred to newcomer Venetian Rock.
