Manalapan looked a nice prospect when narrowly beaten by Rule The World here last month but disappointed at Gowran three weeks later and will have to do better. Orator showed potential last season and was attempting to concede Majenta 5lb on his reappearance at Dundalk while Maggie Dalton looked badly in need of the experience on her belated debut here last July. Lake Nova will have benefited from his run behind Resolute Response at Naas and has to be a threat but a chance is taken on MAGICAL STEPS. The 270,000 dollar yearling made her debut over a mile here in August and though looking in need of the run caught the eye when staying on late. She can do better and is likely to start at a fair price.
