No favourite has won this in the last ten renewals and the last three have been drawn high. Aidan O'Brien was successful with Poet in 2009 and Learn is certain to attract support despite this being his handicap debut. Sadler's Mark has been raised 7lb for his comfortable success at Naas but his young rider's claim is a major plus and he should get competitive. Colin Keane was on board for that Naas victory but he's now on the stable's NEW MAGIC, who looks the type for this. She was in fine form early this summer scoring at Gowran and Limerick and ran well enough when stepped up into Listed class at Galway last time to suggest she's on a reasonable mark, especially with her rider's 7lb claim. Barack has a touch of class as he showed when runner-up in a Listed contest last time while recent winners Vastonea and Punch Your Weight are others to consider in a wide-open contest.
