The veteran Maarek has won three times here and from much higher marks but seems a light of former days. Mokhalad has been in superb form, winning twice at Naas including his latest start when having plenty in hand. He's up 8lb but looks certain to get involved again. Three-year-olds have a good record in this and HAMMERSMITH (NAP) can keep up the sequence. A nursery winner here in August, he reappeared with a fine run behind Woody Creek at Naas and both the winner and fourth have won subsequently. Amanaat, a dual winner at Dundalk over the winter, reappeared at Navan with an excellent run behind Aleef while Hit The Silk beat a big field over 7f here three weeks ago though has never raced over a trip this short.
