Seven of the last nine winners have been trained in the UK including the last two, Hitchens and Tiddliwinks, who both run here. There has been no double-figure draw in the past 14 years so Hitchens is ruled out despite Johnny Murtagh's presence. Slade Power also looks out of it in stall 15 and Nocturnal Affair will do well to land such a competitive event after a very long break. This isn't a great race for three-year-olds but Aidan O'Brien has a couple of entries though Parliament Square is drawn widest of all and Infanta Branca doesn't look good enough. MAAREK has a chance second to none as he loves this track so with rain forecast it's David Nagle's tough and consistent sprinter who is handed the vote. Last year's runner-up Jimmy Styles prefers faster ground and looks a threat if the going remains quick while South Africa produces good sprinters so the Group 2 winner Antious is one for the future though a poor draw is no help here.
