In depth

Verdict

Glamorous, a winner in Germany, is making steady progress for new connections and ran well enough behind Spirit Of Cuba at Down Royal last week to be a threat to all. The useful hurdler Jumbo Rio ran well behind Torpichen over this C&D in April and can make his presence felt, while Reggae Rock would almost certainly be involved if there is any more rain. Belle's Ridge has dropped to a lowly mark and ran his best race for some time at Roscommon while Duc De Savoie has had little racing for his age and is the type to continue on the upgrade. SCOTTISH BOOGIE is likely to come in for support, particularly if the ground gets any softer, and Charles Byrnes' charge has been in such good form over timber recently that he looks well enough handicapped back on the Flat to take this under Seamie Heffernan.
