Vastonea made a winning start on soft ground at Leopardstown so a long absence is of no concern while Manacor showed good pace on the same track last week before dropping away and will have benefited from the run. Sceal Nua had some smart form for Richard Hannon last year and has joined John Oxx on a relatively low mark but RED SHAHEEN looks the one to be on. Paul Deegan's colt scored over the trip at Naas before finding dropping back to a mile here against him and he looks ready to get back on the winning trail. Noble Call has steadily improved and makes his handicap debut from a fair mark though he will need a strong gallop to show his best.
